On February 4, 1989 the Iota Phi chapter was established at NC State University. Since then, our chapter has been ranked in the top 10 chapters in the nation and has repeatedly received honors and awards from International Office. This past year at the International Convention in California, our chapter received Crown Chapter and the Anne Winners Redman Service Award for having the greatest amount of service hours! Our Iota Phi ladies averaged over 32 hours each. Our sisters continually receive awards from Greek Life for their relentless dedication to their studies and involvement around campus. In 2020 and 2019 our chapter had received the Sopher Cup, which is the highest honor a sorority can receive on NC State’s campus.

Sisterhood is a major part of our chapter! Zeta sisters are always there to pick you up when you fall and cheer you on as you succeed. Eating meals at the house is a great way to spend time with each other, whether you live in the house or not, we love our chef! Living in the Zeta house is another way that our members foster sisterhood. Our house has space for 40 girls, and is composed of 20 double rooms. Anyone can apply to live in the house- even freshmen members can move in for the second semester! ZTA's are constantly doing activities together and going on vacations together. Here, you will meet friends you will have a lifetime.

Our philanthropy is breast cancer education and awareness, throughout the year we do many events that raise money for this cause. In the fall semester, we do pink week, where we raise awareness around campus for breast cancer. Our members will stand in the brickyard and pass out pink ribbons, we have many guest speakers, and we pink out all the greek life houses! It is a super fun week and all support an amazing cause! Our annual Crown Classic Football game is a flag-football tournament held in October, which is breast cancer awareness month, this past year we raised over $5,000! In the spring, we hold our Spaghetti Dinner and a 5K all supporting our philanthropy, these events not only raise money for an amazing cause but bring our chapter so much closer together.

The Iota Phi chapter is proud of our scholastic achievements and encourages our members to strive towards academic success. We even have a study room for all sisters to use in the ZTA house! During exam weeks there are always snacks for the study sessions at the ZTA house. Members who achieve Dean’s List are invited to the Dean’s List banquet and rewarded with gift cards. The ZTA Foundation also awards scholarships to deserving ZTA members!
